Discovered at Rosenholm Castle, Hornslet, Denmark when the moat was being cleared. The castle was the home of Holger Rosenkranz, a good friend of Tycho Brahe's and married to his neice. He had a private university there devoted to alchemy

Torch holder
The relief on the torch holder shows Tycho Brahe in armour, a sign of nobility, exactly like the monument on his grave in the Teyn Church in Prague. It may have been used in Tycho's funeral procession? Kulturen in Lund (inv no. KM 36998). See Kulturen's Yearbook 1946 p.12
